Definition: The development or enhancement of an individual's characteristics and traits which are needed for successful job placement and performance.

1. Job Station (part time, less intense supervision; part time, intensive supervision).
Goal: To assist participants in developing or enhancing those specifically identified characteristics and traits, which the participant needs for successful job placement and performance.

Outcomes:
  • To develop a tolerance for work
  • To increase skill in performing work tasks
  • To increase skill in negotiating the psychosocial work environment
  • To increase skill in managing activities related to work
  • To acquire the skills necessary to secure employment
